Action Day & Stockholm Food Forum - The Communities for Action, Stockholm, Sweden

At Action Day and throughout the 2025 Stockholm Food Forum, the Communities for Action (CfAs) – one of the Nexus Action “Living Labs” – were at the heart of the conversation. Bringing together diverse food systems stakeholders, the CfAs worked to advance breakthrough collaborative actions, building on the Action Briefs developed in the lead up to the event. The insights, priorities, and solutions emerging from the communities shaped discussions across the Forum, where CfA representatives took to the Forum stages, demonstrating how collective intelligence, deliberate dialogue, and collaboration can translate shared knowledge into meaningful action.

The Montpellier Process at COP16, Cali, Colombia

The Montpellier Process hosted a series interconnected dialogues and events at the Biodiversity COP16 Colombia carrying a clear message: food systems transformation best contributes to sustainable development when aligned to the Global Biodiversity Framework and its targets just as the targets will only be met if they are incorporated into food systems strategies and pathways. Progressing on this contribution takes effective and inclusive science-policy-society interfacing (SPSI) spaces, starting from the implementers' needs, so that knowledge communities can play an authentic role.
