At Nutrition for Growth, the Montpellier Process convened and engaged the knowledge-to-action interfacing community to unlock local to global to local action for nutrition-focused impact.
Across the Village of Solutions and multiple side events, it engaged with the scientific community as well as private sector, policy and trade community, building on MP CBD COP16 dialogue series and their outcomes, and towards and beyond UNFSS+4 and COP30.
Our message
The Feed-Care-Protect nexus challenges will only be addressed when agri-food systems solutions are applied.
Food systems transformation best contributes to sustainable development when aligned to global nutrition frameworks and targets just as nutrition targets will only be met if they are incorporated into Food Systems strategies and pathways.
This takes effective and inclusive science-policy-society interfacing spaces, starting from where the implementers are, so that knowledge communities can play an authentic role.
The Montpellier Process makes this possible.
